Manchester City charges in under a minute

  • The Premier League referred the case to an independent Commission on 6 February 2023.
  • The case is commonly called the “115 charges”. The usual breakdown is 54 financial-information allegations, 14 manager/player payment allegations, 5 UEFA financial-rule allegations, 7 Premier League PSR allegations and 35 co-operation allegations.
  • The Commission's redacted Core Decision was published on 29 September 2026. Its own legal structure uses Charges 1–4 and sub-charges rather than a numbered 1–115 list.
  • The Commission found the serious financial charges proven and found the majority of the co-operation allegations proven. Charge 4(B) was not proven.
  • Manchester City rejects the Commission's conclusions and says it will pursue the available appeal avenues.
  • No sanction has yet been published in this case. The sanction stage is being handled separately.
